Senior Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineer
Transcore (TCI)
TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Senior Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineer to join our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) team in Manhattan, New York.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will participate in and lead ITS-related design and engineering projects working with agencies in the NY/NJ metropolitan area and across the United States. Typical projects will include the analysis and design of ITS solutions as well as projects that apply industry technologies and our own TransSuite® family of ITS products to deliver customized traffic management solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.

Salary Range: $120,000 - 160,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Incumbents of positions in this series prepare or review plans, designs, specifications
and cost estimates for engineering projects; prepare and/or review reports, studies and
analytical data; perform calculations relating to engineering problems; perform
engineering surveys; inspect construction and/or maintenance work; and perform
related work as required.
The basic purpose of this work is to perform professional engineering duties in such
areas as highways, bridges, buildings and facilities all in accordance with sound
engineering principles, applicable laws, regulations and standards.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires on site presence four (4)
days per week and as required for operational needs.
